The Request
The Football Association asked Colorset to undertake the branding of the Senior Men’s training camp at their Burton-on-Trent base for the Euros tournament.
The Challenge
The project involved transforming multiple spaces across the training camp & adjoining Hilton Hotel into an inspiring, team-branded environment. Challenges included:
- Tight deadlines leading up to the tournament.
- Last-minute alterations requiring flexibility in design and production.
- Complex installation across varied spaces including the physio room, media centre, gym, corridors, and hotel areas.
The Solution
- Immersive collaboration: Following a full team briefing and on-site walkaround, we developed a branding approach aligned with the FA’s vision.
- Diverse media: Delivery included bespoke wallpapers (up to 15m wide in one piece), tension fabrics and frames, printed and frosted vinyls, banner backdrops, frosting, and foamex panels.
- End-to-end delivery: From surveys and design through to manufacture and installation, Colorset managed every step of the process.
The Outcome
The result was a beautifully branded and inspiring setting that impressed both players and support staff. The environment had such impact that the FA kept the branding in place long after the tournament had finished.
